Ticketing, Reservation & Marketing Officer
BT&T, a leading IATA-accredited travel management company, is seeking a Ticketing, Reservation & Marketing Officer to manage airline reservations and ticketing, provide exceptional customer service, prepare travel quotations and itineraries, and support marketing and business development activities.
Responsibilities
- Handle flight reservations, ticket issuance, rebooking, cancellations, and refunds.
- Source, calculate, and quote airfares for corporate and individual clients.
- Use GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, and Galileo/Worldspan to search and compare flight options.
- Prepare daily transaction reports and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with airline fare rules and ticketing procedures.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and travel requests.
- Promote the company's travel services to existing and prospective clients.
- Support business development, client acquisition, and marketing initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual clients.
- Contribute to achieving ticketing, sales, and revenue targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in a relevant field.
- 2–3 years' experience in airline ticketing, reservations, or a travel agency.
- Hands-on experience with Amadeus or other GDS platforms.
- Strong knowledge of airline fare rules, routes, and ticketing procedures.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
