Ticketing, Reservation & Marketing Officer

BT&T, a leading IATA-accredited travel management company, is seeking a Ticketing, Reservation & Marketing Officer to manage airline reservations and ticketing, provide exceptional customer service, prepare travel quotations and itineraries, and support marketing and business development activities.

Responsibilities

• Handle flight reservations, ticket issuance, rebooking, cancellations, and refunds.
• Source, calculate, and quote airfares for corporate and individual clients.
• Use GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, and Galileo/Worldspan to search and compare flight options.
• Prepare daily transaction reports and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with airline fare rules and ticketing procedures.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and travel requests.
• Promote the company's travel services to existing and prospective clients.
• Support business development, client acquisition, and marketing initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual clients.
• Contribute to achieving ticketing, sales, and revenue targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in a relevant field.
• 2–3 years' experience in airline ticketing, reservations, or a travel agency.
• Hands-on experience with Amadeus or other GDS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of airline fare rules, routes, and ticketing procedures.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
