About the role

Senior Project Risk Engineer

Oilserv Limited is seeking a Senior Project Risk Engineer to assess and manage risks across project phases, ensuring alignment with project objectives and compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing risk throughout project phases (design - construction/commissioning – verification)
  • Communicating risk assessments and risk response measures to PM director
  • Directing node-level project teams through risk management processes and maintaining risk register(s)
  • Work on the Risk Register, define challenges, and issues properly and address them to the Management in a timely manner
  • Facilitate meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to identify, assess, and evaluate risk issues
  • Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies
  • Facilitate risk identification and quantification workshops
  • Develop Monte Carlo simulations to quantify risks identified in the workshop
  • Create custom Risk Management tools on very short notice
  • Consciously support and promote the OSL QHSSE and ESG Objectives and KPIs
  • Stop, intervene and report all unsafe work and behaviour
  • Responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and adherence to Occupational Health & Safety policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, construction management or project management
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in engineering and/or project management and in a functional role as Senior Risk Engineer on mega projects
  • Experience using Palisades @Risk for estimating cost risk
  • Experience using Primavera Risk Analysis for analyzing project schedule risk
  • Expertise in Primavera P6 scheduling software
  • Progressively responsible experience working on a range of construction projects and programs, including oil and gas infrastructure and facilities projects
  • Minimum of five years of experience in performing qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, including the use of risk assessment tools
