About the role

Sales and Marketing Manager

Cafers is a decentralized trust infrastructure platform transforming agricultural trade using AI and blockchain. We're seeking a Sales and Marketing Manager to design and execute go-to-market strategies, drive platform adoption, and manage the complete sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute go-to-market strategies and marketing campaigns to drive platform adoption
  • Identify, nurture, and manage relationships with farmers, aggregators, distributors, retailers, and ecosystem partners
  • Conduct market research to segment customers and refine value propositions
  • Manage sales pipeline from lead generation through deal closure
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and technology teams on messaging, feature launches, and brand consistency
  • Set, track, and report on sales and marketing KPIs and performance forecasts
  • Coordinate events, webinars, and industry engagements
  • Represent Cafers at industry events and stakeholder engagements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Agriculture, or related field
  • Strong sales, business development, and account management skills with proven track record of meeting/exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience in marketing strategy, campaign planning, and brand positioning (tech, agritech, or SaaS preferred)
  • Proficiency in digital marketing channels: social media, email marketing, content marketing, and analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to conduct market research, analyze customer and competitive data, and translate insights into actionable plans
  • Comfort working with technology-driven products
  • Ability to work in fast-paced startup environment, prioritize effectively, and collaborate cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications in marketing or business
  • Familiarity with AI, blockchain, or platform marketplaces
  • Experience in agriculture, supply chain, or related sectors
