Seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform laboratory investigations and support accurate diagnosis. Responsibilities include processing clinical specimens, maintaining laboratory documentation, and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory investigations within the scope of professional practice.
• Receive, process and analyse clinical specimens appropriately.
• Ensure accurate and timely laboratory results.
• Maintain accurate patient records and laboratory documentation.
• Carry out and document quality control procedures.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment according to standard procedures.
• Adhere strictly to laboratory safety, infection control and confidentiality protocols.
• Ensure proper handling, storage and disposal of specimens and laboratory materials.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support accurate and timely diagnosis.

Requirements

• BMLS or equivalent recognised qualification in Medical Laboratory Science.
• Valid registration and practising licence with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
• Minimum of 2–3 years relevant professional experience.
• Good knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality control and safety protocols.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to professional standards, confidentiality and patient care.

Salary ₦120,000 monthly
