Senior Accountant

Kasai Consulting Nigeria Ltd is seeking a Senior Accountant to provide comprehensive accounting, tax compliance, client support, and advisory services. This is a full-time role based in Lagos, ideal for an experienced professional with strong tax filing and client relationship management expertise.

Responsibilities

• Review and perform bookkeeping and accounting support services for clients
• Handle PAYE, NHIS, NHF, WHT, VAT, CIT, and other statutory submissions
• Respond to client inquiries and provide practical accounting and tax support
• Visit client offices and build strong client relationships
• Manage and review work of internal staff where applicable
• Verify interpretation of tax legislation and FIRS requirements
• Collect and upload receipts to cloud storage
• Provide administrative support including company registration and statutory filings
• Offer consulting and advisory support for clients and internal projects
• Support sales and marketing initiatives for accounting and advisory services
• Assist with due diligence, M&A projects, and other advisory assignments
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Nigeria
• Minimum 5 years of accounting/tax experience
• Experience with PAYE, NHIS, NHF, WHT, VAT, and CIT filings
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Excellent communication and client handling skills
• Fluent in English
