About the role

Regional Sales Manager - South East

GBfoods is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead sales operations across the South East region. This role involves developing regional sales strategies, managing store performance, and driving revenue growth through effective team leadership and market analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Create regional sales plans and quotas aligned with business objectives
  • Support Store Managers with day-to-day operations
  • Evaluate store and individual performance metrics
  • Plan and execute sales strategies while reviewing sales data and creating reports
  • Forecast quarterly and annual profits
  • Identify hiring needs and train new salespeople
  • Prepare and review annual budgets for the area of responsibility
  • Analyze regional market trends and identify growth opportunities
  • Address problems and implement prompt solutions
  • Participate in expansion and acquisition decisions
  • Suggest new products and innovative sales techniques
  • Build relationships with key contacts including Operations and Store Managers
  • Conduct regular business reviews and track sales activity, new products, customer service, receivables, and claims
  • Develop and execute customer plans to increase sales volume, distribution, and market share
  • Collaborate with logistics team to plan and forecast customer needs
  • Monitor store-level activity and communicate competitive information to Customer Service
  • Track KPIs and monitor competitor activities

Requirements

  • HND/BSc in Business Management, Marketing, or related field (Postgraduate qualification is a plus)
  • 8+ years of progressive sales experience (sector-specific experience preferred)
  • Managerial experience in a related field
  • Proven track record of meeting sales quotas
  • Product and Technical Knowledge
  • Revenue and Profitability Management skills
  • Excellent team leadership abilities
  • Excellent Communication Skills
