About the role

Professional Technical Planner

HEOSL is seeking a Professional Technical Planner to drive the annual planning cycle, technical and commercial evaluation of resources, and portfolio value management activities.

Responsibilities

Drive the annual planning cycle and portfolio value management activities
Conduct technical and commercial evaluation of resources
Advise the Portfolio Management Team on data potential and business insights
Determine production targets using technology, science, and data analysis
Evaluate whether current processes are achieving company goals

Requirements

Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in oil and gas business
Practical experience in business planning, production forecasting, reservoir management, and reserves/resource volume estimation
Strong analytical and mathematical skills (statistics, algebra)
Pragmatic problem-solving approach with developed business acumen
Proficiency with PowerBI and/or Tableau (desirable)
