SME Loan Officer

Join our lending team as an SME Loan Officer focused on sourcing, appraising, and processing collateral-secured SME loans. This role combines business development, credit analysis, and field-based collateral inspection.

Responsibilities

• Source and onboard quality SME clients requiring collateral-secured loans through direct marketing, referrals, networking, and relationship management
• Conduct detailed collateral appraisal and valuation
• Inspect and assess proposed collateral
• Achieve monthly/quarterly targets for loan origination, disbursement, and portfolio quality

Requirements

• Minimum HND qualification
• 2–3 years of experience as a Loan Officer in Lagos, Nigeria
• Strong understanding of wealth management, especially fixed-income/deposit-like products
• Proven success leveraging existing networks for sales
• Good communication and relationship-building skills
• Awareness of the Nigerian financial market
• Ethical and client-focused approach
• Proficient with CRM and standard software
