Field Officer / Coordinator

About the Role Small Mammal Conservation Organization (SMACON) is recruiting a Field Officer / Coordinator to support evidence-based conservation work protecting small mammals and their habitats across Nigeria, the Gulf of Guinea Islands, and West Africa.

Responsibilities

• Documentation and protection of biodiversity in Nigeria and the Gulf of Guinea Islands
• Support of SMACON's conservation network across West Africa
• Fieldwork coordination with local, regional, and international partners
• Implementation of conservation initiatives that safeguard local livelihoods

Requirements

• Passion for wildlife conservation and biodiversity documentation
• Dedication to environmental protection
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders (local, regional, and international partners)
