Steel Fixer (Iron Bender)

We are seeking a skilled Steel Fixer (Iron Bender) to cut, bend, and fix steel reinforcement bars (rebars) for construction projects. The ideal candidate must be experienced in interpreting structural drawings, assembling reinforcement, and ensuring work is completed in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Cut, bend, and fix steel reinforcement bars (rebars)
• Interpret and work from structural drawings
• Assemble reinforcement according to specifications
• Ensure work meets project specifications and safety standards
• Work with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE, Trade Test, or relevant vocational qualification
• 3–5 years of proven experience as a Steel Fixer (Iron Bender) in the construction industry
• Ability to read and interpret reinforcement drawings
• Good knowledge of steel fixing techniques and construction safety practices
• Physically fit and able to work in a demanding construction environment
• Strong attention to detail

Salary

₦200,000 – ₦250,000 Monthly
