Accountant

5TH HOUR is a fast-growing premium hospitality brand seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial operations, support strategic growth, and ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
• Monitor cash flow, sales reconciliation, and bank transactions
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Process payroll and statutory remittances
• Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and management reports
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards
• Support inventory and cost control processes
• Work closely with management to improve financial performance and profitability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional qualifications (ICAN, ACCA, or ATS) preferred
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in hospitality, retail, or FMCG
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
