Ticketing, Reservation & Tour Package Officer

BT&T, a leading IATA-accredited travel management company, is seeking a Ticketing, Reservation & Tour Package Officer to manage airline reservations and ticketing, provide exceptional customer service, prepare travel quotations and itineraries, and support the company's tour package operations.

Responsibilities

• Handle flight reservations, ticket issuance, rebooking, cancellations, and refunds.
• Source, calculate, and quote airfares for corporate and individual clients.
• Use GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, and Galileo/Worldspan to search and compare flight schedules, fares, and availability.
• Prepare daily transaction reports and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with airline fare rules, ticketing policies, and industry procedures.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries.
• Build relationships with tour operators and travel partners.
• Source and secure tailored tour packages that meet customer needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND (minimum Second-Class Lower/Lower Credit).
• 2–3 years' experience in airline ticketing, reservations, or travel agency operations.
• Hands-on experience with Amadeus or other GDS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of airline fare rules, routes, and ticketing procedures.
• Excellent customer service, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
