Role Overview
LifeBank is seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to transport medical products and equipment to hospitals and healthcare facilities across Lagos.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company cars, tricycles, and trucks to deliver oxygen, medical consumables, and equipment to hospitals and healthcare facilities.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and safe completion of all deliveries.
- Load, unload, and lift heavy medical items while adhering to safety procedures.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after every trip.
- Properly secure all products during transportation to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proof of delivery where required.
- Use mobile applications for dispatch updates, navigation, route tracking, and delivery confirmation.
- Report accidents, delays, vehicle faults, or maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper care of assigned vehicles.
- Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with hospitals, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent.
- Valid and current Nigerian Driver's License (mandatory).
- Minimum of 2–3 years' professional driving experience.
- Must be able to confidently drive a car, tricycle, and manual truck and even a bike (optional).
- Must own and be proficient in using an Android smartphone.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy items such as oxygen cylinders, cartons of medical consumables, and medical equipment.
- Must have excellent knowledge of Lagos road networks and traffic regulations.
- Must be familiar with the Idumota Medical Market and surrounding medical supply hubs.
- Strong knowledge of GPS navigation and dispatch applications.
- Candidates must reside within or very close to Onipanu, Lagos.
Salary
- N160,000 per month.
