Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Talentta is seeking an experienced and results-driven Chief Operating Officer to join its executive team in a hybrid role based on Lagos Mainland.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational strategy and business development initiatives
• Close business deals and build strategic partnerships
• Manage grant applications and startup competition submissions
• Drive growth in technology, education, employment, and youth empowerment sectors

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in operations, business development, startup management, consulting, or sales leadership
• Must reside on Lagos Mainland
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and business development skills
• Proven ability to close business deals and build strategic partnerships
• Passion for technology, education, employment, and youth empowerment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with grant applications or startup competitions

Compensation

• 5% of grants or business competitions secured through your efforts
• 5% monthly profit share from Talentta Nigeria
• 15% commission on personally closed business deals
• Opportunity to earn up to 2% equity after 3 years based on performance
• Potential transition to a salaried executive role after institutional funding
