About the role
Front Desk & Administrative Officer
Greenland Concepts Nigeria Limited is seeking a professional Front Desk & Administrative Officer to manage front office operations and provide exceptional customer service in their Abuja office.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and business partners with warm and professional reception
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and enquiries, directing them appropriately
- Receive, record, and distribute correspondence, packages, and official documents
- Schedule appointments and maintain executives' calendars
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and prepare facilities
- Maintain organized filing systems for physical and electronic records
- Prepare letters, reports, presentations, and administrative documents
- Monitor and manage office supplies and inventory
- Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for staff and visitors
- Maintain visitor logs and ensure security compliance
- Assist in organizing company events, trainings, and corporate activities
- Liaise with vendors on office maintenance and facility management
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Office Management, Public Administration, Mass Communication, or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years proven experience in Front Desk, Administrative, Office Management, or Customer Service role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with professional appearance and attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Experience with office equipment and digital communication tools
Preferred Skills
- Experience in corporate organizations, professional services firms, or real estate companies
- Knowledge of records management and office administration best practices
- Familiarity with document management systems and scheduling software
