Web Developer

Compovine Technologies is seeking a Web Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain responsive, secure, and high-performing websites and web applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain company websites and web applications
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces compatible with multiple devices and browsers
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Integrate websites with databases, APIs, and third-party services
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues promptly
• Optimize website speed, performance, and security
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing designs
• Perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance of web platforms
• Stay updated with emerging web technologies and recommend improvements
• Ensure compliance with web accessibility, security, and industry best practices

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications in web development are an advantage.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in web development or a related role. Demonstrated portfolio of completed web development projects. Experience in an IT solutions or technology-driven environment is an advantage.

Skills:

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Knowledge of back-end technologies such as PHP, Node.js, or Python
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and version control tools such as Git
• Understanding of website security and performance optimization
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• High level of integrity and professionalism
