Senior Accountant

Aureole Consulting Limited is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the organization's financial records, reporting, budgeting, and statutory compliance. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information while supporting strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and reconcile financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and budgets.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and cash flow to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including tax filings, VAT, PAYE, pensions, and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and implement recommendations to strengthen internal controls.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years' relevant accounting experience.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ACA is required.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
