Medical Credentialing Specialist

We are hiring a Medical Credentialing Specialist to manage the end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing process for healthcare providers. This role involves maintaining CAQH profiles, verifying provider credentials, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing process for healthcare providers
• Complete and maintain CAQH profiles and provider enrollment applications
• Verify National Provider Identifier (NPI), state licenses, and DEA registrations
• Coordinate with insurance/payer organizations on enrollment and follow-up
• Track expiration dates and ensure timely renewal of credentials
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in credentialing databases and Excel trackers
• Communicate with providers and payers to resolve outstanding documentation issues
• Ensure all processes comply with HIPAA and relevant privacy regulations

Requirements

• BSc/HND in Health Information Management, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field
• Prior experience in U.S. healthcare credentialing, provider enrollment, or medical administration is preferred
• Excellent spoken and written English with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working remotely and independently across U.S. time-zone requirements

Salary N300k - N400k Monthly
