Accountant

A highly motivated and experienced accountant is needed to manage financial operations and support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include overseeing financial and accounting processes, preparing budgets, and ensuring compliance with Nigerian tax laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial and accounting operations
• Interpret financial results and recommend process improvements
• Support strategic financial decision-making
• Prepare budgets and conduct variance analysis
• Manage cash flow forecasting and bank relationships

Requirements

• Minimum First Degree (BSC/HND) in Accounting, Economics, or other relevant fields
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership role
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks is an advantage)
• Professional qualification in Accounting and/or Finance (e.g., ICAN, CFA, CIMA)
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and accounting standards
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of local accounting regulatory policies and guidelines
