About the role

Sales Executive – Ibadan

Glovo is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to drive partnerships with local stores and brands on our delivery platform. You'll own the complete sales cycle, from lead qualification to partner onboarding and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with local stores and major brands to list them on the Glovo platform
  • Manage the full sales process: lead qualification, pitching, negotiation, deal submission, and onboarding
  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales objectives
  • Build and prioritize a high-quality sales pipeline with accurate forecasting
  • Coordinate with Content, Operations, and Finance teams to resolve onboarding and activation issues
  • Monitor early partner performance and drive improvement where metrics underperform
  • Identify and negotiate visibility assets tailored to partner needs and local markets

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or customer-facing roles
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • High energy, resilience, and a competitive "hunter" mentality
  • Data literacy and proficiency with CRM tools and sales tracking
  • Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and accuracy-focused
  • Commercial judgment to prioritize long-term value partnerships
  • Proven track record of bouncing back from setbacks
  • Experience in food delivery, hospitality, or restaurants is a plus
