About the role
Business Development Manager
Hinckley Associates Nigeria Limited is seeking a Business Development Manager to develop and nurture customer business accounts, drive sales growth, and implement marketing strategies in Port Harcourt.
Responsibilities
- Develop, nurture and manage customer business accounts
- Hit sales targets and develop sales pipelines
- Create and implement regional monthly marketing campaigns
- Manage quarterly marketing budgets with proper approval and recording
- Create and distribute marketing materials to B2B and B2C customers
- Coordinate and attend trade events and consumer fairs
- Manage and maintain customer databases
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, SMS, or face-to-face
- Manage customer enquiries and generate new accounts
- Liaise with engineers, front desk, and CKI officer to monitor customer activity
- Work alongside sales team to promote solution offerings across all marketing channels
- Organise and participate in internal and external corporate events
- Report to Head of Department and MD
Requirements
- HND minimum qualification
- 2 years experience
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
- Business intelligence capability
- Learning and adaptation mindset
- Understanding of ROI
- Project management experience
- Leadership and team management skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- English language proficiency
- Full-time availability (8am–5pm)
Salary
NGN 150,000 monthly (plus commission)
