Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership for a well-established laundry and dry-cleaning services business with over 9 strategically located facilities across Lagos.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's financial strategy.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting.
• Oversee cash flow, treasury, taxation, and financial controls.
• Provide commercial insights to support business expansion, pricing, and investment decisions.
• Strengthen governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Drive process improvement, financial systems, and operational efficiency.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team to improve profitability and long-term sustainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years' finance experience, including senior leadership experience.
• Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance, or similar role.
• Strong background in FMCG, retail, consumer-facing, or multi-site businesses.
• Excellent knowledge of financial planning, treasury, budgeting, IFRS, taxation, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP is an advantage).
• Strong commercial, analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
