Logistics Officer

Responsible for managing and overseeing the logistics operations of Gas Tech International Limited. This includes inspecting trucks and skids, monitoring fleet movement, tracking customer gas flow rates, and ensuring compliance with HSE standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspection of trucks and skids upon arrival and prior to dispatch.
• Ensure truck and skid cleanliness in line with operational standards.
• Verify truck documentation, driver's license validity, roadworthiness, and tire pressure before dispatch.
• Monitor fleet movement using GPS tracking systems and ensure real-time visibility of deliveries.
• Track customer gas flow rates and coordinate dispatch schedules accordingly.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily logistics and operational reports.
• Ensure PPE compliance and uphold HSE standards across all logistics activities.

Requirements

• HND or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in CNG gas plant (CNG experience is an important).
• Proficiency in GPS fleet tracking systems and ERP/logistics management platforms.
• Sound knowledge of truck inspection protocols, basic vehicle maintenance principles, and CNG safety standards.
• Good understanding of HSE procedures, fire safety practices, and incident reporting frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work rotational shifts.
