Assistant Plant Manager

Responsible for providing operational support across plant activities to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and maximum uptime. Coordinates PRMS data downloads, project and operations activities, and ensures seamless execution aligned with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support across plant activities to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and maximum uptime.
• Coordinate PRMS data downloads, as well as project and operations activities, to ensure seamless execution and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Provide continuity of leadership to plant teams across the shifts ensuring effective decision-making.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, HSE, Operations, and Logistics to deliver seamless operations.
• Enforce HSE compliance, regulatory standards, and internal control processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve operational challenges.
• Prepare Operational comprehensive reports regularly and represent the Plant Manager when required.

Requirements

• B.Eng./B.Sc. in Engineering or related field
• 10-15 Years plant/Industrial
• Experience with proven managerial exposure
• Experience in CNG, NGV station, Oil & Gas or Energy is an added advantage
• Strong leadership presence, sound-judgement, and safety-first mindset
• Comfortable working in structured, performance-driven operations.
• Experience in piping layout with both low and high pressure.
• Ability to flow in Hausa language is an added advantage.
