Documentation / Compliance Officer
A Documentation/Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that company operations adhere to regulatory standards and maintaining accurate documentation. This includes managing compliance with NAFDAC regulations and GMP standards, controlling documents, leading audits, coordinating training, and tracking deviations and corrective actions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure company operations follow NAFDAC regulations and global Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
- Create, review, update, and archive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch records, and quality manuals.
- Lead internal quality audits and prepare the facility for external NAFDAC inspections or regulatory audits.
- Train staff on compliance policies, document control systems, and current GMP guidelines.
- Log quality deviations, manage investigations, and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related science field.
- More than 5 years of experience in quality assurance, regulatory affairs, or document control within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of NAFDAC/WHO GMP guidelines, excellent attention to detail, strong technical writing skills, and good computer literacy.
