Sales Officer – Cross River

Oxygen is hiring a Sales Officer to drive loan disbursement and build lasting customer relationships across Cross River.

Responsibilities

• Source, prospect, and onboard qualified customers in line with lending criteria
• Conduct customer assessments and process loan applications accurately and efficiently
• Achieve monthly and quarterly loan disbursement targets
• Maintain regular contact with customers post-disbursement to monitor performance
• Follow up on loan repayments and identify early warning signs of default
• Maintain Portfolio at Risk (PAR) below 5%
• Implement collection and recovery strategies for overdue accounts
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely performance reports

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Minimum OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• 1–3 years experience in sales, lending, microfinance, or customer-facing roles
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and disbursement targets
• Experience in loan recovery or collections (advantageous)

• Strong sales and negotiation skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities
• Good understanding of credit assessment and risk management
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication
