Solar Cell Process Technician

We are seeking detail-oriented and technical Solar Cell Process Technicians to join our manufacturing operations. In this hands-on role, you will monitor, fine-tune, and maintain the chemical, thermal, and deposition processes across our high-volume silicon solar cell production lines—ensuring high cell conversion efficiency, optimal yield, and zero defect rates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee automated silicon cell production equipment across core fabrication stages
• Monitor real-time parameters using Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools
• Perform routine quality checks using EL imaging, IV curve testing, and optical measurement equipment
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Strictly adhere to cleanroom standards and chemical safety protocols

Requirements

• OND, HND, or B.Sc / B.Eng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline
• 1–3+ years of experience in solar cell manufacturing, semiconductor fabrication, or advanced automated industrial manufacturing
• Good understanding of silicon wafer processing or automated machine operations
• Hands-on familiarity with measurement instruments and computer literacy
• Ability to follow technical SOPs and read basic equipment control interfaces
• Ability to work in full cleanroom apparel, stand for long periods, lift equipment up to 20 kg, and work 12-hour rotating shifts
