NYSC Software Developer

Join OTIC Surveys as a Software Developer during your NYSC service year. This is a fully onsite role in Lagos where you'll work on real-world web and mobile applications, collaborate with an experienced team, and gain hands-on mentoring in a learning-rich environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining internal web and mobile applications
• Support the development team in debugging and testing software
• Collaborate with team members to manage project deliverables
• Write clean, scalable code following best practices
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas

Requirements

• Must be a current NYSC member deployed or serving in Lagos
• Must reside within or close to the Chevron, Ajah, Sangotedo, or Lekki axis for ease of commuting
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least one year of software development experience
• Solid understanding of at least one programming language (JavaScript, Python, PHP, etc.)
• Proficient in building web-based applications
• Good understanding of databases and API integration
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
