Investment Principal (Partner Track)

CRAF is seeking an Investment Principal to lead deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio support across a $50M fund investing in African agrifood and climate tech companies. This role offers a clear 18–24 month pathway to partnership for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Lead deal sourcing and execution across the fund
• Manage portfolio companies and provide strategic support
• Make meaningful investment decisions with institutional capital
• Leverage deep network to identify high-growth opportunities in African agrifood and climate tech
• Board-level engagement with portfolio companies

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, fund management, investment banking, or development finance institutions (DFIs)
• Deep network across Africa's investment and entrepreneurial ecosystem
• Proven track record of executing investments and deploying institutional capital
• Board-level experience and strong portfolio management capabilities
• Based in Lagos or willing to relocate
