A well-established and fast-growing civil engineering construction company is seeking a Chartered Accountant to join their team. The role involves building and strengthening the accounting system, with a focus on project and construction accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, cash flow management, procurement, and asset control.

Responsibilities

• Build & strengthen the accounting system
• Manage project & construction accounting
• Handle financial reporting & management information
• Oversee tax & statutory compliance
• Manage cash flow, banking, and working capital
• Work with procurement and management to ensure proper payments and internal controls
• Oversee accounting controls for assets, equipment, and inventory

Requirements

• Must have ICAN membership/qualification
• Relevant construction or project accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting systems and controls
