Production Manager

Abuja Precast Concrete Limited is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee and optimise the production of precast concrete products, including concrete blocks, paving stones, and kerbstones. The successful candidate will ensure product quality, operational efficiency, safety compliance, and timely delivery of production targets.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily production activities to meet output targets.
• Ensure efficient use of machinery, raw materials, and workforce.
• Monitor production schedules and coordinate workflow across departments.
• Oversee quality control processes and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Supervise plant operations, including batching, moulding, curing, and finishing processes.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Enforce health, safety, and compliance standards within the facility.
• Lead, train, and supervise production staff and machine operators.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material supply requirements.
• Prepare production reports and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in production or plant management within manufacturing or construction materials industries.
• Experience in precast concrete manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery, and plant operations.
• Proven leadership, team management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations in manufacturing environments.

Salary ₦150,000 – ₦300,000/month
