Whassan Nigeria Limited is a Nigerian company with over 40 years of experience in industrial catering services, facility maintenance, and manpower supply across offshore, onshore, and remote locations. We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the HSE Officer position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor and maintain hygiene standards in catering operations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols.
• Provide training and guidance on HSE practices.

Requirements

• BSc / HND qualification
• HSE Level 1-3 certification
• Food safety and hygiene certification
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and government agencies
• 5-10 years of industrial catering experience
• Previous experience in a similar industry
• Understanding of menu planning and recipe interpretation
• Good communication skills in English
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
• Knowledge of catering hygiene standards
