We are seeking a creative, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Interior Design Associate to join our team. The role involves assisting customers in selecting furniture, lighting, décor, rugs, and accessories to suit their space and budget, while providing professional interior styling and design recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting furniture, lighting, décor, rugs, and accessories to suit their space and budget
• Provide professional interior styling and design recommendations
• Develop room concepts, mood boards, colour combinations, and product selections
• Assist with space planning, furniture placement, and layout recommendations
• Translate customer requirements into suitable design solutions
• Take/interpret room measurements to recommend appropriately sized items
• Prepare product recommendations and quotations
• Follow up with prospects and help convert consultations into sales
• Assist customers with materials, finishes, colours, fabrics, and complementary pieces
• Support interior design projects for homes, offices, shortlets, and lounges
• Visit project locations for measurements, consultations, or assessments
• Work with sales, logistics, procurement, and installation teams for smooth execution
• Maintain strong knowledge of products, specifications, and design applications
• Stay updated on interior design and home décor trends
• Maintain professional communication throughout the consultation and purchase process

Requirements

• Degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, Interior Architecture, Fine Arts, or related field is an advantage
• Previous experience in interior design, furniture, home décor, architecture, or related field preferred
• Strong sense of colour, proportion, furniture placement, and visual aesthetics
• Ability to understand room dimensions and basic space planning
• Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service and relationship-management skills
• Ability to recommend products confidently and contribute to sales
• Creative, organized, detail-oriented, and solution-driven
• Basic knowledge of design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Canva, Photoshop, or similar) is an advantage
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail and e-commerce environment
