About the role
Senior Accountant – Abuja Clinics
Abuja Clinics is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to coordinate accounting functions, prepare financial analyses, and support budget management and audit processes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate accounting functions across the organization
- Prepare financial analyses and reports
- Prepare revenue projections and forecast expenditure
- Assist with preparing and monitoring budgets
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
- Assist with annual audit preparations
- Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and compliance issues
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 6–9 years of working experience as a chartered accountant
- Working knowledge of tax
- Strong proficiency with MS Office applications
- Analytical thinking with detailed research capabilities
- Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a busy environment
