About the role

Marketing Specialist

VendorizeME is seeking a Performance Marketing Specialist to drive growth through paid advertising, SEO, content marketing, and partnerships. You will own the marketing function from Day 1 with direct access to leadership, managing campaigns targeting US event hosts while supporting B2B efforts in Nigeria.

Responsibilities

Performance Marketing:

  • Plan and execute paid social campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok targeting US event hosts in Houston, Atlanta, and New York
  • Manage Google Ads campaigns for high-intent event-related search queries
  • Run A/B tests on ad creative, copy, targeting, and landing pages; report weekly
  • Manage monthly paid marketing budget of $6,250–$21,250
  • Track and report weekly on CPL (target: ≤$25), booking conversion rate, and take rate attribution

SEO & Content:

  • Build and maintain city-specific event vendor landing pages for organic search
  • Produce blog content, vendor guides, and event planning resources aligned with SEO strategy
  • Own email marketing calendar: vendor activation sequences, host nurture campaigns, review prompts

Vendor Acquisition & Platform Ads:

  • Run vendor acquisition campaigns to grow supply base in launch cities
  • Manage Platform Ads programme with sponsored placement tiers ($99–$299/month)
  • Execute wedding planner and event blogger partnership programme (target: 10 active partners by August 31)

B2B Content Support (RE/TES):

  • Produce monthly device pricing and availability newsletter
  • Develop B2B sales collateral: product sheets, SLA documents, corporate pitch materials
  • Support LinkedIn outreach and company page management

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Set up and maintain marketing dashboards tracking VDM acquisition KPIs
  • Provide weekly campaign performance reports
  • Contribute to monthly business reviews with metrics and experiment outcomes

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in digital or performance marketing (agency or in-house)
  • Demonstrated US market paid campaign experience on Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads (case studies/portfolios required at interview)
  • Proficiency in: Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4), and at least one email platform (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or equivalent)
  • Strong written English at US-native standard
  • Strong analytical ability with campaign data and budget reallocation decisions
  • Nigeria-based with reliable high-speed internet and home/co-working setup for video calls
  • Bachelor's degree

Strongly Preferred:

  • Two-sided marketplace, SaaS, or gig economy platform experience
  • Product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel)
  • SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console)
  • Retargeting and pixel setup experience (Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager)
  • Understanding of US event and wedding industry

Salary

NGN 250,000 – 400,000 per month (competitive and commensurate with experience; specific package details discussed at offer stage)
