Unified Payment Services Limited is seeking an experienced Clearing Specialist to provide operational and technical support for clearing and settlement platforms, ensuring accurate, secure, and timely transaction processing across multiple payment schemes.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of clearing and settlement systems.
• Monitor transaction processing, investigate incidents, and resolve issues within SLA.
• Support Mastercard, Visa, American Express, UnionPay, and domestic payment processing operations.
• Perform approved system configuration, deployment, and testing activities.
• Support reconciliation processes and investigate transaction exceptions.
• Generate operational and management reports.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and application support teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with payment scheme rules, operational controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Telecommunications, MIS, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in clearing and settlement, payment operations, transaction processing, banking, fintech, or related environments.
• Experience supporting payment switching, reconciliation, clearing, settlement, or transaction processing platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of electronic payments, transaction monitoring, and payment systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, risk management, and compliance awareness.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
