Field Sales Representative
Softroleum Limited is seeking a confident and disciplined Field Sales Representative to drive the distribution of Kingsmen Custard across Lagos and nearby trade routes. You'll visit provision stores, retailers, mini-marts, open markets, food vendors, schools, and small distributors to open new accounts and build lasting customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Visit assigned sales routes daily to prospect, open, and manage retail accounts
- Introduce Kingsmen Custard to retailers, resellers, food vendors, schools, and small distributors
- Explain product positioning (carrot and soy) clearly and persuasively
- Take orders, follow up on deliveries, and support repeat purchases
- Monitor product visibility and ensure proper in-store displays
- Support market activation, tasting sessions, and retailer engagement activities
- Collect customer feedback, competitor pricing, and market objections
- Manage retailer relationships and resolve customer complaints
- Follow up on payment collection per company policy
- Record daily visits, orders, payments, feedback, and outlet status
- Protect company sales materials (posters, table cards, display stands)
- Work with the team to achieve weekly sales and outlet growth targets
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of field/retail/FMCG sales experience
- HND qualification minimum
- Comfortable walking markets and visiting multiple shops daily
- Persuasive, polite, and confident communication skills
- Understanding of sales discipline: pricing, margins, credit risk, follow-up, payment collection
- Honest, reliable, and able to submit accurate daily reports
- Ability to use WhatsApp and basic mobile apps for reporting
- Knowledge of Lagos trade routes is an advantage
- Willing to complete a short objective sales assessment
Salary
NGN 70,000 – 150,000 per month plus commission, with weekly transport allowance.
