Sales Representative

Responsible for managing in-store retail activities, providing customer service, assessing customer needs, and driving sales through direct marketing and promotional activities. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills to monitor market trends and manage inventory.

Responsibilities

• Manage in-store retail activities
• Provide customer service and enhanced customer experience
• Assess customers’ needs and provide matching products and services
• Demonstrate sound product and service knowledge
• Keep up with fluctuating supply and demand, as well as price trends
• Understand/monitor local competitors and communicate business intelligence
• Identify, introduce and penetrate new prospects and other sales opportunities
• Handle customer queries and complaints effectively
• Perform direct marketing and sales activities as well as coordinate periodic promotional activities
• Generate B2B, corporate and bulk/wholesale sales where feasible
• Identify current and future trends that appeal to consumers
• Monitor and report all other activities and provide relevant information for the management
• Produce daily and weekly reports
• Stock and inventory management

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and relevant experience in sales of mobile communication devices or household appliances
• Proficiency in MS Office
• High numeracy skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong negotiation skills
• Good written, oral, and communication skills
• Good presentation skills
• Good interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to use own initiative
