Engineering – Wells Advisor III

ABNL Limited is seeking an experienced Wells Advisor III to provide expert technical oversight and advisory support for drilling and completion operations. The successful candidate will mentor engineering teams, drive operational efficiency, support well planning and design, and ensure safe and cost-effective execution of drilling programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for drilling and completion programs.
• Mentor and support less-experienced drilling and completion engineers.
• Ensure consistency and best practices across multiple drilling operations.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Environmental, Regulatory, Procurement, and Cost Management teams.
• Lead engineering studies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve drilling and completion efficiency.
• Participate in vendor evaluations, Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), and equipment acceptance processes.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and deviation requests.
• Support construction, commissioning, and system integration activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and engineering standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline).
• Extensive experience in drilling, well construction, and rig development.
• Strong knowledge of FEED, detailed design, construction, and commissioning processes.
• Experience in construction site management and well site design.
• Advanced analytical, technical, and computing skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including API, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, ABS, DNV, SOLAS, and IMO.
• Familiarity with offshore Oil & Gas regulations and operational requirements.
