Sales Person / Store Keeper

St. Mary Dedication British International High Schools is seeking a friendly and efficient Sales Person / Store Keeper to join our team in Benin City. You will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while ensuring accurate and timely transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a warm and welcoming manner
• Accurately count and reconcile items at the beginning and end of each shift
• Scan items, bag purchases, and provide receipts to customers
• Maintain a clean and organized area
• Assist with stock-taking and inventory management when required
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours

Requirements

• BSC, HND or Diploma degree in Accounting
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail environment (preferred)
• Computer literate
• Excellent numeracy skills with the ability to handle cash and perform basic calculations quickly and accurately
• Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash registers
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and supportive demeanor
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all transactions
• Good time management and organizational skills
