About the role
Sales Engineer – Rotation and Precision Machines Limited
We are seeking an ambitious and performance-driven Sales Engineer to drive product sales and market growth for RPM brands and Fuchs lubricants across assigned territory in Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Achieve agreed sales budget for RPM brands and grow sales in assigned industry segments
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers through direct sales visits
- Assess customer applications and provide technical product recommendations
- Act as a consultant to customers, supporting the complete sales process from prospecting to negotiation
- Conduct site surveys and provide technical advice to potential customers
- Maintain minimum gross contribution of 30%
- Report daily, weekly, and monthly on sales activities, market intelligence, and competitor information using company sales tools and databases
- Promote RPM price positioning and protect brand premium
Requirements
Education:
- BSc or HND in any related field (preference for Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering)
Skills & Experience:
- Proven sales experience; experience selling engineering spares or lubricants is an advantage
- Experience selling to FMCG, F&B, Construction, or Cement industries is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities
- Sound business judgment and sound judgment
- Resilient, tenacious, and performance-driven
- Teamworking ability and willingness to work hands-on
