Reporter (Female)

We are looking for a driven, articulate, and professionally presented Female Reporter to join the Globe Telly Services newsroom. This role is suited for an experienced journalist with strong on-camera presence and sharp investigative instincts, with the ability to produce accurate, engaging, and timely content across our television and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver stories independently from pitch to broadcast
• Produce accurate, engaging, and timely content across television and digital platforms
• Maintain strong on-camera presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in journalism or news broadcasting
• Strong, confident on-camera presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Solid understanding of journalistic ethics, editorial standards, and broadcast journalism practices
• Ability to develop and deliver stories independently from pitch to broadcast
• Creative storytelling ability, with a strong understanding of comedic timing, skit-style narratives, or engaging entertainment-driven content formats
• Fluency in one or more additional Nigerian languages is a strong advantage
• A BSC and Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field is preferred

Salary ₦250,000 – ₦420,000 / month
