Financial Controller

The Financial Controller is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all financial management, accounting, budgeting, treasury, taxation, financial reporting, cost control, internal controls, and compliance activities of the hotel. The role ensures the integrity of financial records, safeguards company assets, maintains strong internal controls, supports strategic decision-making, and drives financial performance and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership and advice to Management.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that support the hotel's business objectives.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Lead the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets.
• Monitor daily cash flow and liquidity requirements.
• Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and statutory obligations.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities.
• Identify financial risks affecting hotel operations and develop strategies to mitigate them.
