About the role

Hardware Staging & Hot-Swap Engineer

Gidia Oaks Limited (GoL) is seeking a skilled Hardware Staging & Hot-Swap Engineer to join its engineering team supporting the AfWS Eko Atlantic City Tier-III Data Centre in Lagos.

Responsibilities

Install, mount, and manage enterprise-grade server hardware
Execute rack-and-stack operations and hardware staging procedures
Manage cabling and power supply connections
Maintain accurate rack elevation documentation
Perform hardware maintenance and hot-swap operations independently
Ensure accurate execution of installation and maintenance procedures

Requirements

ND/HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience in server hardware installation, rack-and-stack operations, or data centre physical infrastructure
Experience with enterprise-grade server hardware installation, mounting, cabling, and power supply management
Knowledge of structured cabling standards and rack elevation documentation
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Salary

₦500,000 – ₦750,000 gross per month (Negotiable)
