Driver

A Driver is responsible for ensuring that assigned vehicles are fully operational, well-maintained, and ready for use. This includes conducting daily checks, maintaining vehicle logs, and carrying out minor mechanical repairs when needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the assigned vehicle is fully operational and well-maintained including inventory of all necessary communication and emergency equipment.
• Maintain vehicle log books for daily trips and keep records of mileage and fuel consumption.
• Ensure that the assigned vehicles are maintained regularly in accordance with service records.
• Conduct daily checks on all assigned vehicles and report any defects to the Operation Manager.
• Ability to carry out minor mechanical emergency repairs on vehicles as and when required.

Requirements

• Secondary education, plus a combination of relevant driving certification/diploma or other academic qualifications and training.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
