Audit Manager

Ayorinde Thomas and Co. is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, and deliver quality assurance services with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop audit strategies.
• Supervise, coach, and review the work of audit team members.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Prepare management letters with practical recommendations.
• Manage engagement budgets, work in progress, and billing.
• Support business development and proposal preparation.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 to 6 years' experience in external audit within a reputable audit firm.
• Current or recent experience as an Audit Manager.
• Proven experience managing audit engagements and leading teams.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and the Nigerian regulatory environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Professional qualification such as ICAN (ACA/FCA) and/or ACCA is an advantage.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with audit software will be an added advantage.
• Experience across multiple industries is desirable.

Salary ₦600,000 – ₦700,000 net per month
