About the role

Head of Brands & Marketing

Pinnah Foods is seeking a commercially minded and creatively driven Head of Brands & Marketing to lead brand strategy, marketing, communications, and customer growth across the business. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building strong emotional connections between brands and customers while driving measurable business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the company's brand and marketing strategy
  • Strengthen brand positioning, visibility, relevance, and customer loyalty across all touchpoints
  • Drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth through integrated marketing initiatives
  • Lead multi-channel campaigns across digital, social media, PR, partnerships, activations, and offline channels
  • Oversee content, storytelling, creative direction, and brand communication
  • Develop data-driven marketing strategies using customer insights and market intelligence
  • Identify and execute strategic collaborations, partnerships, sponsorships, and influencer opportunities
  • Work closely with Operations, Product, Customer Experience, and Leadership teams
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team across brand, content, communications, and growth functions
  • Establish clear KPIs and performance measurement systems

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading brand and marketing strategy within FMCG, retail, hospitality, food service, lifestyle, or consumer-focused industries
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior, customer acquisition, retention, and brand growth
  • Demonstrated ability to build culturally relevant, commercially successful, and customer-centric brands
  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset with ability to translate insights into business outcomes
  • Exceptional storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
  • Strong leadership presence with experience building and managing high-performing teams
  • Highly execution-focused, proactive, and adaptable in fast-paced environments
  • Passion for food, hospitality, culture, and consumer experiences
  • MBA, CIM, or related advanced qualification is an added advantage
