Account Sales Manager - Sheraton Lagos Hotel

Marriott International is seeking an Account Sales Manager for the Sheraton Lagos Hotel to proactively solicit and manage group and catering opportunities, drive revenue growth, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Identify and close new group/catering business opportunities to achieve personal and property revenue goals
• Understand market dynamics, competitor positioning, and economic trends to maximize revenue
• Respond to incoming group/catering opportunities outside the Event Booking Center parameters
• Negotiate contracts and close business using creative selling abilities
• Generate proposals, write contracts, and manage customer correspondence
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout each customer experience to drive loyalty
• Conduct site inspections and create contracts as required
• Attend pre- and post-event meetings to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, FAM trips, and trade shows
• Work collaboratively with internal sales channels (Event Booking Center, Market Sales, Strategic Accounts)
• Participate in daily service basics and brand standards

Requirements

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years in sales, marketing, guest services, front desk, or related field
• OR 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
