About the role

Sales Coordinator

DAG Industries Nigeria Limited is recruiting a Sales Coordinator to coordinate sales operations, support the sales team, manage customer orders, monitor inventory, and ensure timely product deliveries. The role serves as a critical link between sales, warehouse, logistics, finance, and customer service teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily sales activities and provide administrative support to the sales team
  • Process customer orders accurately and ensure timely execution
  • Prepare quotations, sales invoices, and sales-related documentation
  • Track customer orders from placement through delivery
  • Serve as primary point of contact for customers regarding orders, deliveries, and product availability
  • Build and maintain relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and corporate customers
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints by coordinating with relevant departments
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports
  • Monitor sales targets and provide performance updates to management
  • Analyze sales trends, customer buying patterns, and product performance
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely product dispatch
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock shortages
  • Work with Finance to monitor customer payments and credit limits
  • Collaborate with Marketing on promotions, product launches, and sales campaigns
  • Maintain accurate sales records, contracts, quotations, and agreements
  • Schedule meetings and prepare presentations for sales reviews

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, or related discipline
  • Professional certification in Sales or Marketing is an added advantage

Experience:

  • 3–5 years as a Sales Coordinator, Sales Support Executive, Sales Administrator, or similar role
  • Experience in FMCG, automobile, lubricants, tyres, spare parts, manufacturing, consumer goods, or related industries
  • Experience working with distributors, dealers, wholesalers, and retail channels is highly desirable

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Customer service orientation with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, dashboards, data analysis)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or Sage
  • Ability to generate and interpret sales reports and KPIs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting field sales teams across multiple territories
  • Good understanding of sales distribution networks and channel management
  • Ability to coordinate high-volume transactions while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset
  • Proactive, organized, and capable of working under pressure
