Planning Engineer
Groupe Aldelia Limited (Aldelia Nigeria) is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to develop, monitor, and control project schedules for major Oil & Gas projects. The role involves supporting project planning, progress measurement, schedule analysis, forecasting, reporting, and project controls to ensure timely project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Prepare project baselines, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and project execution schedules.
- Monitor project progress, identify schedule variances, and recommend recovery plans.
- Produce weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, dashboards, and look-ahead schedules.
- Conduct schedule risk analysis, forecasting, and critical path analysis.
- Coordinate planning activities with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Project teams.
- Monitor project performance against approved schedules.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide schedule updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure planning activities comply with company procedures and project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years’ planning experience, preferably within Oil & Gas, EPC, or EPIC projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Strong experience in project scheduling, progress monitoring, forecasting, reporting, and project controls.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Warri.
