Planning Engineer

Groupe Aldelia Limited (Aldelia Nigeria) is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to develop, monitor, and control project schedules for major Oil & Gas projects. The role involves supporting project planning, progress measurement, schedule analysis, forecasting, reporting, and project controls to ensure timely project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Prepare project baselines, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and project execution schedules.
• Monitor project progress, identify schedule variances, and recommend recovery plans.
• Produce weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, dashboards, and look-ahead schedules.
• Conduct schedule risk analysis, forecasting, and critical path analysis.
• Coordinate planning activities with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Project teams.
• Monitor project performance against approved schedules.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide schedule updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure planning activities comply with company procedures and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years’ planning experience, preferably within Oil & Gas, EPC, or EPIC projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong experience in project scheduling, progress monitoring, forecasting, reporting, and project controls.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Warri.
